Cold Rolled Plate are sheets of steel which have been temperature-treated at room temperature following the heat treatment and cooling involved in hot rolling. Other than in hot-rolled plates, more rolling processes in lower temperatures make for better tolerances, smoothness, and surface quality in cold-rolled plate, thus making them more consistent, clean, and perfect for work that requires great precision, superior finish, and detailed works.
The Cold Rolled Plate, compared to the hot-rolled one, are thinner and finer. It is very versatile since both aesthetic and functional use could be allowed with a pretty high look and good mechanical performance.
While cold-rolled steel by itself is not corrosive, we do additional protection as galvanization surfaces to minimize corrosion or more effectively than rust and corrosion set against atmospheric actions and at deterioration from wear and teet. These will better handle the steel during extended utilizati~n-out condition, especially when having stress related to humidity requirements.
